and on some other sites for Lake pipe headers for a flatty. I wanted to see if anyone has a used/unused set laying around...before I shelled it out for new ones... Anyway, I keep getting responses for the kind like a Merc or 53 Ford custom has down the side. I think this has been covered before but what is the correct reference to the kind on a custom and/or the kind on an fenderless AV8? ....excuse my ignorance......I get it from Blown49 and Petejoe.....
Limefires is a brand name I believe. Lakes style headers is probably a more accurate description for what you want...and is a description that would probably get you what you want. Lakes pipes are those other things you mentioned. Charlie
Exactly. Lake pipes go on the rockers of 50's ****. Lakes style headers stick out of the hood sides of Model A's.
Leave out the "Pipe," you tube!... I think if you had just said "Lakes Headers" people would have known what you were talking about. Unless they were *****s... Thanks again for the bolts etc... I finally think I'm ready to put my flatty together... I will post pics here.
