I have a 37 Ford pickup but if I had the funds (not going to happen) I'd be looking for a 1935 coupe. Damn nice looking ride IMO. Lets see your 35 coupes.
I've always been a fan of '35-'36 3-window coupes. but to me the '36 is a much more "integrated" design. The grille on the '35 looks too early and angular for the art deco body.
35's way nicer than those late model 36's But I am biased. When I first got my 35 I originally thought it was a poor mans 36 but after a very short while I really began to appreciate the 35 styling, the way the fenders flow down to running board and the little kick up on the rear fenders, really nice. The more I see of 35's the more I like the design. A 35 three window is pretty much perfection and if I ever get fed up with the cabriolet then thats the car for me. Gordon.
Yup. Put tires and wheels on any car or truck and you instantly have a Hot Rod. What's the history behind the 3 window and 5 window coupe? Was the 3 window a business mans coupe and the 5 window a family car?
The 3 window is a very desirable and bad *** car and the price is just out of my league. That's why I say it's not going to happen for me. Doesn't cost to look though.
I have a 36 5 window project in the holding pattern, always liked the 35 better, much better. But I'd trade in a heartbeat for a 37 or 38 standard.
