Here is a picture of Jack Costalla on the salt flats in Boliva. At their recent first SpeedWeek there Also, due to some computer glitch that I can't fix, I am now RRichFox. All of my previous data is now gone.
Sorry for your loss, so we lost everything you've posted on the HAMB as well? How did all the vehicle get top Bolivia? Bob
The Hamb proper preserves your iden***y...somehow I think its a little more complex than that...that is no fun. Thanks for sharing the pearly white...Hope you get things reinstated.
I never new that Bolivia even had salt flats, let alone an economy that would let anyone there to be able to afford to build vehicles to this extreme. Thanks. Bill
There has been an ongoing attempt to get something going at Hakskeen Pan north of here. There were events in '12, '13, and '14 but nothing since, and there is the constant threat of the whole thing turning into a road trip with track day thrown in for the chest wig and medallion set in their off-t******lf exotics. Kalahari Desert Speed Week's website is down to a landing page. Flooding this year meant no event on the pan, but that is also likely to mean a good surface for the Bloodhound attempt in '18. It's good to see this sort of thing happening in unprecedented parts of the world.
I Spelled Costella wrong to. How did you expect me to get Bolivia? I am still having lots of difficulty getting on the HAMB. And I think I lost the rest of the pictures Jack sent. If I find them and can do it, I will post them also.
Rich as some one else said, you are still here on the HAMB, I just searched for you and saw your profile page, nearly 8,000 posts etc. I would PM one of the super moderators, looks to be a simple task to get you back!
Ryan tried. When I screw up, I do it right. But I can get what I want from here. Just takes longer. Here is Jack in Bolivian street roadster and locals spectating speed trials
Jack has been sending occasional pictures of the lakester being built in Bolivia. I guess the builders sent them to Jack and he forwarded them to his friends. No information with the pictures. I have to ***ume that the cars were driven or towed to the salt, same as here.
wow. I traveled across those flats on a tour 20 years ago. had no idea they did a speed week type event there. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
If I posted it right, this is a video about the upcoming speed trials at Bolivia. You have to scroll down three spaces to the video. https://www.facebook.com/top1ackattack/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE&fref=nf
