    Hi,

When I come to the board I see some thread titles in bold and some in normal text. I know the bold text means that there are new posts. The problem I'm having is that a lot of the threads that I see with normal text have new posts in them that I haven't seen, but the thread titles aren't in bold like they should be.

I know the board used to work like this because if I hadn't checked for a few hours, I'd come back and find 3-4-5 pages of bold thread titles. Now I'm lucky if I see the first page in bold.

For example, right now on the main board there's this thread: check out the travel channel tonight!

The thread title isn't bold. There are posts in that thread that are new since the last time I checked the board. And I haven't even looked at that thread at all! So why isn't the title in bold?

So my question is, where do I set my preferences so that I see new threads or threads that have new posts in them in bold?

    Thanks.

  2. Well, now I'm having this problem so I guess I'll bump 'cause there's no reply.

I've seen it where if you come on firts time lots of stuff on the first couple of pages is bold, but if you leave and come back it is like the computer figures since you have seen those pages and the threads have not been modified since you saw them last, it will not bold them.

  4. Probably just a glitch in the code.. I run the "New posts in Bold" add-on on a vBulletin forum I administer and I don't think I have that problem.. or never noticed it.
