    Hi.

Just installed a set of 49 type truck water pumps for better motor mount options. But i notised that the pulleys are not alligned. The water pumps are further out by 3mm or crank pulley further in by 3mm. Its a french flathead. So is this where i would search for a truck pulley too, og should i just retract the pulleys on the pumps slightly.

It's my understanding the French flathead is early rear, late front, so you'll probably have to use a '48-'53 truck/'49 Ford/Merc crank pulley.

Just did an attempt on the crank pulley. It jumped right off without any tools once the nut was off. The crank is 1 5/16 diameter is that correct for the truck pulley.

    Are those narrow belt pumps
Because I have been trying to find narrow belt pumps with the old style mounts like you are showing.
