Not usually a sedan guy but the price was right and it was too damn clean to p*** on. Old guy bought it many years ago and pulled the engine to rebuild and never really got back on it. Family sold and I decided to give it a new life. Figured I'd share some pics. Need seats and a steering box if anyone is holding! After being pulled out into the yard and on the trailer at home: In the shop and swapped out the green wheels for some '35 wires with staggered whitewalls I had kicking around. I'm dragging a '40 Flathead I have in my stash this week and gonna try and maybe put this mostly together with parts I have on hand. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Looks good! I'm more of a coupe guy also, but nothing wrong with a sedan. It really looks at home with that garage/shop, could have been a picture from back in the day.
Gangster...Just a thought. Ole Henry had style didn't he...just throwing the whitewalls on sets it off real nice. Real nice model...good on you...Matt
My '42 Ford Box Truck. Old Butcher truck with original hand lettered logos. Probably drive that more than any of my other junk!
Nice solid find. Whitewalls perked it up well. I'd leave the paint as is, same as the Butcher truck. Love your garage!
Wow! Super nice old sedan in a waaay cool garage! I'm loving that garage, what's the story on it? Also, what is the brand and sizes of the whitewalls you put on it? They really improved the look of the car.
I love sedans. Nice score and I like where you are headed with it. Also, killer garage! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Tires are 750-16 and 600-16 on original 35 wires. I agree the tires really helped the look of the car. Thanks for the kind words. Long story, but here's a little shop tour and the back story as I know it so far on my shop.
First, the metal on that car is amazing, that said from a guy that lives in Michigan. Great buy & save. Thanks for the tour, from the first time I saw your shop it had me at hello. Keep up the great work and the recycling of vintage tools and of course cars. Thanks agin.
Dude. Man am I envious. You, your talent, and most definitely your abode. Killer world, you reside within. Outstanding video. Thanks Matt !
Matt, The sedan looks like a great car. But, like a lot of others I am blown away by your shop! What an amazing work environment. My wife and I sold our 127 year old farm house four years ago and I still miss it. Enjoy your car AND your shop! Thor
Won't have time to touch it for a month or two so I figured I'll put it up in the meantime and see if anyone wants it. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
