I have a couple of Deuces and I love the wagon but I'm getting antsy and thinking about another '54 Ford, more of a daily driver/hot rod. Anyone else ever consider another 50's Ford? HRP
I have a '53 Customline 2 door for sale. Has a built flathead with a Merc crank and 3 speed with OD. I haven't driven it for quite awhile and it's taking up room in my garage that I need for my current project. The car isn't running. $2,000 cash takes it and all the parts including 3 flatties, 2 of which I saw running before they were removed from their original homes. I have over 4 grand in the engine. PM me if interested, can supply pics.
I have a 52 Crestline, but I really would like to also have a convertible some day, and replicate the one my dad had in the late 50's/early 60's. I'd really love to find the one he actually had, but alas, I think that's a pipe dream.
Both of these cars sounds good but IF I start another project it will have to be a coupe, preferably a no frills '54 Mainline. Brenda told me I need another car like I need another hole in the head but all 3 of our old cars are road worthy and well maintained,I suppose I'm just thinking out loud and hoping a cheap coupe comes along, ladyhrp is hoping one don't. HRP
My 55 Sunliner is still a project and I have a partially completed 40 Tudor waiting for me to finish, but a friend told me about a 56 Parklane that has a completed ch***is with 302/AOD and a great body in need of ***embly. Sure has me thinking.
The Parklane is a rare car, a fellow Tri-City Rod & Custom Club member is working on one now,it is a good looking wagon. HRP
I can go with a '57 or '54. Hard to come across a clean one though. I was fortunate to come across my '59 being in such good condition. Another car would have to be comparable to get my interest.
aren't those 2 dr sedans? I wouldn't mind picking up a 4door at some point if i can get a crazy good deal on one, just to play around with to improve my welding/fabricating. Mostly stock outside with some nice custom touches and modernized running gear with a cool matching vintage camper to pull behind it.
My wife bought my next '57 project earlier this year. Gonna keep me busy for a long time. Unfortunately it's a house.
Literally everyday... sold my 54 before having the chance to complete it. Figuring out how to track it down in hopes of maybe buying it back. No luck so far. Maybe another 54 will fall on my lap.
