Last Call HAMBers / Stray Kat 500

After my trip to Austin is the time of the year when I start working on the
Stray Kat 500. We are well over the 100 pre-entry marks so the freebee
shirts are gone. Over the past five years, I've told everyone on the HAMB
if they were planning on attending the SK500 and hadn't pre-registered
yet. Let me know and I'll be sure to get ya one of the freebee shirts.
Shoot me a pm with your name address and shirt size and I'll get you taken
care of.

Tomorrow I'll post pictures of one of the trophies that Ron Myers pinstriped.
It is the sickest trophy that I've seen to date.

Sorry Bro, the motor still isn't ready for the Fly. Looks like I'll hafta spectate if I get to come at all.

 

Motor is out of the T and the HA/GR dragster. You know I'll be there. we will fix um.

i should be pre-registered; sent in january. if you never got it would you let me know? otherwise all is good and i'll see you in about 3 weeks.

raven should be registered, too. i've got a room for him and amy.

Hey Mick! We got ours sent in a couple of weeks back, just dig thru that huge stack of people coming from Hope and we should be in it.

Looks like I will be spectating again this year cant get **** together for the show. But will be there walking around droollling.

IS there other hotels in town? Or can I role into town and find a motel room or will have have to stay in Bartlesville? Man I am starting to get excited

 

Mick, When is the best time to role into town? I would like to do all the extra stuff like the ROundup had if there is anything going on. IS there a list of all the cool stuff to do?

 

Friday between noon and 1:00 pm is when everybody tries to get into town.
It is easy to tell where the host hotel is because of all of the Hot Rods & Kustoms
hangin around the place.

You'll have to stay in Bartlesville because Dewey dosn't have a hotel, yet.
Bartlesville has a new Microtel that just recently opened their doors so
this will help out a lot. Two years ago (Car show and a graduation) all of the
hotel were booked that weekend. If you'are not looking for a good place to
sleep, book a room at the host hotel (Best Western).

We are working on a shop tour on Friday afternoon and we are going to cruise over

ya know, folks claim a lotta stuff went on throughout the night last year, but either i'm too old (read that: hard of hearing) to have noticed or the motel walls are insulated pretty good for sound. our room was on the ground floor right at the corner where folks were partying, but i never heard a thing after i went inside to go to bed.

 

Will be coming in on Sat a.m.. But do plan to stay over for Sunday this year.
My check cleared so I ***ume I'm in,lol. See ya in a couple weeks.

I am going to try to make it up on Friday, as I have a four day weekend that weekend. I will definitely be there on Saturday.

 

We are trying to make it up there I did forget to pre register like always but if at the end of the line somewhere you have a shirt left we'd like one, your kustom kids should be there hopefully I'm going to work my *** off and try to get my 60 or her pontiac going to come up there and if all else fails we'll be in my late model pickup.

I'm hoping the little one will be able to go to especially if we don't go to ft. smith. I'm thinking I may have to trade the 60 for a 60 wagon just to carry all of our **** hehe.

Check your PM's.........the wife mentioned that it would be a fun get away from town show. So looks like we are driving down in the roadster p/u early Saturday morning, sunrise thirty. Are any of you KC guys taking off on Saturday morning early?
