I have put a 351W in a '46 Ford. The original tank I'm using has a 1/4" gas line and of course the pickup in the tank is 1/4" also. Is that going to be sufficient for a stock 351W? I am not a fast driver. Any ideas if this will be a problem.

My 36 had 1/4 inch at the tank. I added 5/16 the rest of the way. No problems. 350 crate 4 bbl carb auto trans.

  3. I did the same as 325w, 1/4 to 5/16 via a Holley electric(RED) pump to my SBC with 600 cfm Edelbrock, runs great! I have a Hurst front mount so I can't use a manual pump.

Get some Nice Weatherhead 3/8" Pushlock line run it front to rear and use some good -6 AN either Weatherhead or Aeroquip pushlock fittings.
