I'm going to sneak some plastic in here. Hope you don't mind. this is from 1952. the rear wheels are deliberately off center so the car kind of hobbles down the road. I have another one that pops those rolled caps as you pull it down the road.
Oopppsss..... I'm too late, it's Wednesday, any way doing some work at the desk top model shop tonight I found out you don't put much heat to die-cast to f:""%:" it up...... I guess the 37 Chevy panel is going to be fender less now???? Sent from my QTAQZ3 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Cool. Gowland and Gowland right? I have several of those including 3 my mother built "back in the day" and one "T" coupe I did a major re-work on including stuffing in a Revell SBC. You can see the coupe over in the "Sunday Models" thread on p84. I won't post it here since it's not a Die Cast.
Hey Ron, Nice, unusual model...My friend had an old car that looked like that model with the bubble top. It had a blue paint job, and total white upholstery. The car was driven with levers, not a wheel. It was the weirdest thing I ever rode in and I could not drive it more than a block. It was hot and under that bubble, started suffocating...or it seemed like it. Junji I thought it was going to be a great magazine article on how he customized it. But, after the photos, all of the submissions to mags came back with a "sorry, too much of an oddball car." So, I gave all of the photos to the owner and moved on to the next project...but, that car was weird. Yes, I have done some research on Kustomrama and the guys here on the HAMB. No luck...lots of Daryl Starbird stuff, that looked similar, but no cigar.

Here is a Chrysler 440 High Performance mail box. Four Strombergs are diecast as are the valve cover hold downs. Look it over you may see other stuff.
I don't want to be a picture hog. I did charge the oil and detail the delivery, since I last posted pictures. lol But I do still like playing with the toys too. Here are a few more shop trucks for this week. They are all diecast. But the rods that they're towing aren't. Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
