1952-59 Ford 55 Ford Customline

just a little information about the steering box on the 55 customline what other kind would work or the steering column if so mine has a hard spot in it at times not alwas just some would anyone know what it might be

Sounds like it needs rebuilt. I sent mine to Redheads and couldn't be happier.

Just going off memory 54-55 are the same, 56 is shorter (first year of dished steering wheel), 57 is also shorter (but was different somehow - maybe the pitman, but I forget) and 58-59 are shorter and have recirculating ball (better design)
