What's the best rear end swap for a 54 Chevy truck?

Awesome thank you, one more question what did you end up using for the drive shaft/torque tube

 

I was using a 91 cadillac as a donor vehicle, so I used it's driveshaft, shortened by the local drive shaft shop.

i don't like them myself, but would you be willing to use adapters----in order to use the 5 X 5.75 wheels?

This might be the cheapest, easiest way.

 

So I ran into a snag, I have a 49 1/2t frame and was going to put a 1990 Camaro rear axle on it., but some one beat me to it at the salvage yard. they have a 1996 rear axle there though. Will that work?
