Guys I'm struggling to find a back glass for my 51. Anyone have any suggestions where to find one? I'm located in West Michigan. Thanks everyone

You might try the "Classified" section, & tell us the exact body style.

Call Ed at Wildcat auto, 503.668.7786.
Also, Big M auto salvage in Williams Calif might have something.

There was a junkyard on Rt 31 south of Traverse city that had some old stuff, its been over 10 years since I was there so it could be gone now. Bought a 53 Plymouth o/d trans from that yard.

Watt's auto salvage, Wymore NE has a lot of old stuff. Give them a try.

Thinking of maybe foxes? I've called quite a few places. Managed to find 2 cars but no windows.

Does anybody have a interchange on these? Was looking at my neighbor's 50 dodge and it looks strikingly the same

We still don't know what you're working on - we need pictures. Seldom do any Dodge body parts fit Plymouths even though the family resemblance is great.

I checked my 23rd edition of the Hollander interchange manual. It shows that back glass as number 1591 and only the '51-'52 Plymouth two door rear glass will interchange. The manual doesn't say what the difference is between 1591 and other rear glass.

I was wondering what the difference is between a business coupe and a two door. The Hollander manual shows that the back glass is different.

In this time period Plymouth named their 2 door body styled cars weird. Wyo, your's is officially a Club Coupe, even though it would be a 2 door sedan if anyone else had made it.

OK I checked the Hollander for business coupe, 3 passenger. It showed interchange 1588 late 50-52 business coupe. I still don't know what the difference in the glass is.

The guy I got it from had a 50 sitting right next to it. The rear glass was flat! On the 51 its a curved rear glass. I'll take a pic of the back openings tomorrow

A business coupe could have had flat glass, but a club coupe would have had curved glass. The curved glass was reserved for the more expensive cars, which a business coupe was not. 46-48 Plymouth is the same way, business coupe, flat glass, club coupe and all others, curved. Gene

  20. Don't clown around with Lexan or other half assed solutions. They made a boatload of those Plymouths. Someone has a proper backlight for it. Try posting on one of the big club sites

I will look the next time I go and if you ever get to be on 31 check out Beulah auto parts in the very big town of Beulah that if you sneeze you could miss it. They had some old stuff when I was there in 99 or 2000.
