I need to replace the DS windshield from my '46 Ford. Does anyone know what the glass people use to safely remove the Inspection and Registration stickers. I think it's some type of spray that does not destroy the stickers so they can be reused.

  3. why not call one of the Glass Co. up to Find out What the Use.
Or if the Glass is Broken Cut the Section where the Sticker's are
and lay them against the New Windshield!

    Just my 3.5 cents

We used to get inspection stickers out of the junkyard all the time because our crap would not pass inspection. They got smart and put it so when you peeled them off it said void . Had to get legal .
    check with the glass company.

Windshield guys around here cut the corner of the old windshield with the stickers out and tape around the edge and place it in the corner of the dash.

chaos, you hit the nail on the head. I used my Milwaukee heat gun on the outside of the glass and the stickers came off like new, Thanks.
