I stole the idea from someone else.......hoping to get back on this project this week. Been a great summer though.

Grill bars 39-46 Dodge COE truck If anyone has any interest. I was needing a few grill bars for my grill and all needed repair and polished & had been searching for something to use. I have found something to work with. I bought a compete set of Polished stainless molding for a early vw bug (1966) in the group there are 5 pieces which are usable and the hood strip even has the correct curve. I made a few calls and was able to buy a bunch of hood molding to replace all my grill bars. Just a little t******* to make them fit. All in all I will be in a complete new, polished stainless grill for around $150
Getting closer to paint Start making rear bumper brackets Trying some different wheels Finishing the bed mounts Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I like what you did to the front fenders. I wish I had done that to my truck before I set up the front wheel location
Do you think I should narrow the rear bumper or run it full width? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I like it full . These COES are hard enough to see the rear . It will protect your fender . I love what your doing . You could move it to one side the amount you want to narrow and take a picture of that side and take a gander to what you've got . Hard part is decision making . The work is the easy part .
I think leave it full as the proportions will suit the taller than normal height of the bed. A shorter bumper will only make it look even taller.
That looks stunning as the photo shows it now. You sir are a "craftsman". I have been gathering this and that for my 47 Ford C.O.E. build, including gathering this and that bits of info from studying how each of the remarkable fabricators on these HAMB builds are doing it, and speaking with other rodders. Your Steer Clear photo is a "gift" alleviating one of my dreaded fears... "What happens when I get to...?" I am green, oh so green at this stuff, but have lived most of my life with the idea that "Where there is a will there is a way!" And you definitely are leading the way... INSPIRING! Love this Dodge!!!
" Vision without execution is simply hallucination . " Edison JOYFLEA that above quote is excellent too; adding that to my collection of wise words.
Mock up for running board Rake was to much to use the finished fenders Add some more metal to the front edge Way better angle Now to make the running "boards" out of steel Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I got my running boards finished up. Hope to have color in the cab next weekend Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Looks great!! The proportions really work in a truly weird COE kind of way! I got a dumb question... Will it fit out the garage door?
Did get a little color on the cab. Went with hot rod flatz Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Got the bed sprayed and a little put together on the cab Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Incredible job disguising the modern on that bed! What are you doing for the tailgate? Again the paint looks awesome.
