If it's like all the other parts Dennis manufactures it is a high quality part. It sure looks good.

I hope he supplies parts from it...the lever looks nice, and almost has to be cheaper than what's available now...he includes the ignition switch entire, and those parts are widely needed too. My last NOS ones actually came from Carpenter, and my understanding is that the replacement bits available now melt in action. Good ones would be great.
The complete piece certainly looks good!

A really welcome and needed part.
Hoping they sell repair parts as well.

  4. Whoever they say makes it (AHRP Inc.), doesn't come up in a search.

Dennis showed me the new column drop when I was at So-Cal on Thursday. They look perfect to me, I don't think you would be wasting your money buying one. I think all the parts will interchange with an original although I don't know if he's offering them at this time?

Not sure how you would do that as the angle is quite a bit, I know RHD ones are hens teeth. about the only way would be to cut one up and reweld. Would be awful to do it to such a beautiful piece though...

I found my column drop, and it is more complete than i thought it was. Key is stuck and its missing the terminal plate.

Is there anyone amongst the Hamb community who rebuilds these?

Try Fordbarn I'm pretty sure I remember seeing someone there who does them, or reference too.

Been looking over a year for a column lock... the missing piece for mine. Just missed out on one recently listed in classifieds. The repro column drop looks good. If parts interchange, I sure hope they are willing to sell parts.
