Just found a new in the box Eelco front end lift kit probably from the 60's. Thinking of the B/FX look for my Fairlane. Anybody ever use one of these??? There are no instructions in the box
Did a search on Google and came up with this: http://groups.msn.com/TheWorldOfDuckus****us/balljointspacers.msnw That's about all I could find although I do recall seeing a post on here about them.
Which ones were they, like what years, I've had a set of these and they were very simple(in theory but a bit of work) to install. If they are the ball joint spacer ones, for 57 and up ford you just knock the rivets off the stock ball joints(alot easier said than done) install the spacer between the A arm and the ball joint with the long *** bolts that are in the kit and put the front end back together. pull the wheel off and look at the kit and the car and it'll come together. Hope this help a little. Drew
Beyondhelp..Thanks...I'll keep looking around. I was hoping someone from the HAMB bopard may have used one in the past.
I am running an Eelco lift on my 64 Cyclone. I don't have any handling issues, but I have broken a couple shocks. I think I have something binding which is causing the shock to break.
