Hello fellow HAMB'ers. I am ridding shot gun with a friend of mine in a 1956 Plymouth Belvedere. We were driving from Hamilton, On. to Columbus, Oh. Well we got half way were in Erie, P.A. now with some small car issues. Does anyone know any local shops that could help. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have money and that is not the issue we are not looking for a handout and we can pay someone for help we are just not famuiliar with the area. Anything help! P.S. I doubt I will have the Internets outside the hotel so if someone needed to get a hold of me you can contact me via text or phone with the number (647) 459-7648. Thanks guys! Mitchell de Moor
You can try Bonnells Rod Shop in Fairview. The are a good group of guys and do quality work, but i am not sure if they are open on Fridays. (814) 474-2400 http://bonnellsrodshop.com/
Bump................Can you describe your issues, might help get you directed to someone who could help. Does the car still run?......Not sure you'll see this ,but at least I gave you a bump.
I've got to agree with lothiandon1940 in that describing what the issues are might go a long way in getting help. Do you need electrical, brakes or ???
You can say what you want about the NSRA but I don't leave home without their Fellow Pages in case of a break down. Checked and didn't see anyone from Erie listed. Gary
Hey gang! We had fuel delivery issues on the way down. Put new lines in, fuel filter, and fuel pump on the car on the side of the road. Still no dice I suspect it's the tank full of **** as this is my buddies first big haul in the car after buying it from an older gentlemen after it had been sitting for a few years. I can't thank everyone enough though we had lots of text messages come through from HAMB'rs and my buddy Paul and I can't thank you guys enough. We had one guy in Angola, New York give us a lot of help and another Canadian stopped just outside P.A. to help us put a new fuel pump on the car at the side of the highway. Can't express how much I love you all and the rest of the hot rod community ya'll are #1 in my books. We are in a AAA now on the way to the border. Well limp her across the border and get a CAA truck from there. I'll hop in my late model when I get home and drive all night to Columbus and hope to see some of you guys there. Take care and thanks for all the help and support! Mitchell DE Moor Sent from my SM-N910C using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

buy a spare boat tank at Wal Mart - think you can get them in 5 and 10 gallons....plastic tanks last for a while....and the tank is reusable....
