I think this thread is hillarious. Really shows the narrow mindedness of a lot of people.

I bought a set of these and mounted wide whites for my 60 olds wagon. Look great to me. Will probably paint match them to the roof when I get that far.

This hobby is all about your vision of your car, not the lack of vision of other people.

There are good things to say about those rims...

But, also a lot of bad.
I could run them, but it's a matter of what car.
These on the other are awesome:

@ beef stew what are you gonna run them on?

But the rims that started this thread, they are the second best thing. I could run them on my one car, they would fit.
If they fit the era of your build, run them. They are better the Brazil rims!

I like them. And if you look closely at the basket wheels, the seam is not in the same place.
I think these have a lot of potential, they should make them in several larger diameters though.

I'd love to have a set of the old wire basket wheels in 15s for my Thunderbird. Real wire wheels won't last long here where I'm at. Corrosion is awful.

those wheels don't belong on the HAMB unless someone is trying to put cool hubcaps on them.

Thank god all of u A O's aren't developing wheels , we would still be driving around with the **** from the 60's /70's !??? Slots , give me a ****ing break , after looking at hot rod magazines all life , I could go without ever seeing another pair of slots , cl***ic cragars and leave the magnesium on the track . If it's not shiny & chrome it shouldn't be on a hot rod is that it ? Christ one wheel , so many *****es

Nine years and you still haven't changed them! Seriously, they don't look too bad; not really my cup of tea but it's not my truck. Have fun...
