    The late 50's early 60's French car that had a version of the Ford V8-60 engine? As I recall, they had un-finned aluminum heads. Does anyone recall this car and anything about the engine?

    The winner! The "60" was used for a bunch more years and in South America evolved into having Hemi [I think] heads...Not sure if brand was still Simca..

    Simca ,Vidette ,Chambord ,Beaulieu .1959 until mid 70s in Brazilian model called the Emi sul which eventually ,was a Chrysler product , Hemi heads !

    thanks....knew the answer....but not the hemi head stuff....y'all not talking about the Diamer motor or ya ?
