Seems like the high end for that year, but if a 59 fetches that, a 55-58 should fetch more! here's hoping!
There is at least that much in parts and processes into the build. I've never seen one that nicely done in recent years.
Its gorgeous, but c'mon...it is too much money. And complete repaint? That ammount of money should also buy a complete do***ented frame-off restoration.
I think the dealer is banking of the past owners notoriety (Bill Woggon, the creator of the Archie Comic) to enhance the price. HRP
Nice car but somethings don't look right from the photos, like the gloss of the interior paint, the upholstery itself and the engine detailing. It would make a nice driver though. I never liked Archie.
In reality, it would sell at $25k pretty quickly. I'd have to see the bottom of it first. It still has the old single master on it, but an upgraded AC compressor so the car is not an 100-pointer by any means.
