    Gots me a new project!

Found 1 cracked head, a **** carb, and points that were tight. She now has a rebuilt 1406 on top, factory 327 "441" heads (instead of the "624" castings). She's getting new points, cap, rotor, wires and plugs today. She's been updated to discs up front, and they work, but I think the brake pedal needs to be adjusted... there is zero free play.

Then it's on to the exhaust (open header currently), and wiring. That should get it up good enough to make my Club's show Saturday.

Currently looking for a stock steering wheel!

I'll post updates as they come. Hope y'all like it.

  4. Looks like you have a good start on a nice project.
Keep it safe and reliable and you will have a lot of fun with that old Ford.
    Congrats!

Well, she made it to the kickoff party, and the show. Got a miss on #6 and she's pushing coolant out of the same cylinder. Suspecting a warped or cracked head, or perhaps I need to put Teflon on the head bolts. Regardless, head needs to come off again.

Got some fenderwell headers too, the cheapie block hugger center dumps are way to much of a PITA to run.

Anyhow, more updates and maybe a YouTube video this weekend.
