If you are not familiar with her, her story is pretty interesting and she captured some great images of life on the streets from the early 50's until the 70's. I don't think it would be fair to litter this site with her work and not all of it really fits but if you enjoy pictures like this, look her up.

Wasn't sure of the definition so I looked it up:

It has been my experience that he is always that way. I'm with you, you made a nice post correcting a detail and it did not require that sort of response.

@31Dodger - I think @C. John Stutzer was a little bit joking. Don't take everything too serious.

My thoughts exactly. But that would make her over 80 now.

edit: Just found that image on the photographer's site. It is her, taken in 1978. Looking closer, the gas pump is not 50s era.

The Blondie Buick pic got me searching for more. Found a topless one, no Buick, sorry.
    Here's a pair of Rivs to re-align.
This would be be a hell of a thread to get deleted or locked.
Many would agree with me on that one point.

I'd hate to see this thread shut down or people banned due to hot headed name calling. Chill, people, it's all just for fun. I love the old pics. I was wondering why someone blacked out what looked like a vw bus, I too, saw the Model A.
There's nothing here worth falling out over.

Looks like the 1965 Buick Special we had when I was a kid. I remember those gas prices also. It once hit 28.5c in about 1971 at the Co-op station I was working at.
