Hunting the elusive bargain
I found a couple of them but nothing for me...

 

Yesterday was ethan's 14th birthday. I talked to Ryan and asked him what he thought about me helping Ethan set up a account he said "Hell Yeah" We were setting it up last night and he had changed his email p***word and didn't know that he had.

Once we figured that out it was time for him to go to bed. We will finish it today and I will post a link to his introduction here go there and say hey to him.

Happy Birthday Ethan, I hope that you had a great time at the Meltdown and am hoping to see the Corvette on the road sometime soon

 

From our local cruise today

 

Well it has been hot here. It has been way to hot to do much in the garage. In the morning I have a plan. I am getting up early and getting started on working on the Corvette.
My wife is taking the kids and a couple of their friends swimming and I am going to work on the car till around noon.
Then I am going to jump on the bike and probably head to the swimming hole to swim with them.

Well so far so good. I have one more bolt before I can drop the tank out. But the head of it is stripped. So to quote someone from back in the day " Stop its Hammer Time "

Well I got two of the Antisqueak strips glued on. Then I jumped on the Shovelhead and went swimming with the wife and kids.

 

I ordered a few things for the gas tank replacement. Tomorrow we will get parts for our dailies. They are my next projects.

 

Well I got the dailies done. Mine went well but the rear brakes on my wife's Suburban were hell. After a little bit we finally realized that the rotors were the wrong ones.

The boxes were marked right but the rotors were wrong.

Now back to the Corvette.
