Does anybody have any pictures of model A's or similar cars with cream colored painted frames? I am thinking about doing that for my project, but was wondering how it would look, if it would get real scratched up/dirty, etc.
Any pictures or advice would help.

I believe in rod and custom magazine a couple of months back there was an A Tudor that had a light color frame and a satin gold body with a white firewall. I am thinking of trying emery cloth on a DA sander then clearing it with a flattener to give it a bare metal look. Not what you asked but I have thought of the light color frame also. Just something else to ponder.

Is this the one you are talking about? This is one of the few I have seen, and I really like it.

I found the mag it was April issue of rodders digest the car didn't have a white frame but did have a lot of white painted suspension parts and white running board pads. There are a lot of cars in this issue with light colored frames chek it out if you can find on.

That green Coupe belongs to my Uncle, it looks even better since he changed out those mags for chrome steelies, not that I don't dig the mags.

Yeah, he's my dad's youngest brother. I do have to agree with the fact that car is one tough looking son of a gun, but I love the way it looks with those chrome wheels, but since you know Tracy you knw that there's no telling how long they'll stay on there. You must be one the reasons he's always going to Fresno, if you don't mind maybe I could tag along one these days.
