OK, I'm new to the H.A.M.B! I know I'm Gonna catch some **** from some, and grace from others. So let the Fun begin! 1st Question, I'm currently getting ready to change out the existing 6 volt system to a 12 volt. I have a new Mallory dual point dist, a one wire GM alternator and mounting bracket (courtesy of Red's Headers). Mallory 12 volt coil and a 12 volt battery. Am I over looking anything, do I need a new voltage reg? I have heard that the starter will be fine, just a higher spin. (True or False) What about the electronics in the dash? I do know I will need all new bulbs and lights excepting 12 volt too. Thanx's for any help.
