    Kansas HAMB-b-que.

Saturday April 22th, noon 'til the bonfire goes out. We may cruise into town and go to Kuntz Drive-In (food only) for dessert.

Beef, dogs, potato salad, sodapop, surf tunes and more…

My place= 839 1800 Ave. Abilene KS, About 3 miles south of town.

Let me know who can make it. Bring your hotrod, bring your family, and/or bring your dog. I have a pretty big yard, lots of shade and a play set for the kids. Heck if you want to pitch a tent or bring the RV you can spend the night.

I hope all of us in Kansas can make it, and guys from surrounding states also (Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri and Colorado for the geographically challenged).

I am about 2-½ hrs West of Kansas City (I-70 west) and about 1 ½ from North of Wichita (North on K-15).

(Sorry if there was some confusion earlier- I neglected to remember when my daughters dance recital was...oops ;) )

Shout out if you think you can make it!

This is who I have so far:

    Kerry
    Guiseart
    Beemer
    zach
    N8inks
    Steve M
    Straykatkustoms
    raven61

    Maybe:
    Farmallpete
    Rocky
    highboy32
    oldschoolauto
    Rockyjr
    Muffman58
    JasonK
    wfoguy

    Who's bringing the lawn darts?

    Jay,
I received your PM, and I will try to make it. But, not sure, depends on how much coin I owe the feds.

If it rains, I'll come. Otherwise, I'll be taking pictures at the WIR High School Drags.

So, you know me. I will take any chance I can get to be a pain in the ****.

How exactly can you be in Kansas and be 2 1/2 hours EAST of Kansas City?

I like the idea of bending the time/space continuum as much as the next guy, but...

I hope you get a good turnout. Take lotsa pics for me.

Hey if I can get someone to fill in for my son's soccer game , I 'll be there. I would have go with out the kids, they both have games.
I will have to leave the coupe behind also, dont think it will make it that far, we'll see.

    later, jeff

Hell, don't worry about coming in a "HAMB-worthy" vehicle... The family and I will probably be in a stinkin' '75 Suburban.... just come!

If anyone wants to bring something- just post it up here so we can reference it and not bring double dishes/items. If you have something in particular you like to make, like a family recipe, by all means bring it!

I am getting some beef brisket, and making some potato salad. I will get whatever else we need that's not on our "list". I also was going to get some burgers, dogs, corresponding buns, condiments, sodas...

Please don't feel you have to bring something, you guys are the ones traveling, I can take care of the rest. :)

Raven, I will try and remember to bring your Rochesters, PM me the week before to remind my dumb***.

Who else was coming that I was bringing parts for?

Oh yeah, if you have a couple extra lawn chairs, bring 'em if you have room. I have several, but wouldn't hurt to have some extry.

Any of you'se guys coming up from Wichita- take K-15 North from Newton. It's much faster than going around through Salina.
