So enjoying the lil roadster. Small car show & shine over the weekend and was given an honorable mention for the nostalgia factor.

Still trying to drive it as much as possible. Scheduling a respray and getting the interior done hopefully. But while out and about try to take a few secs for some snapshots.

Nice pic's,love your car in those !
I have a Art Deco design gas station built in 1936 here in Miami Fla,thats still active. Your cool rod would look great here too! I got gas there in the 1950s an got free glasss, cups an plates with 5gal. or more! I still drive to it now and then. I did take a pic last Christmas when I was there.

Great looking hot rod, awsome cool !.
Off-topic,but kind of always woundered why who ever called it " Suede Palace"? Being suede is ruff side of leather, scruffy looking,it seems insulting to me to call anything that, except if some one buys in to bubble BS about how primer or rust was a finish an not just temp before getting to shiny paint. Being I was building hot rods in the late 50s n on. Stuff like that bugs me sometimes. Never mind, retoricle.

Actually your assessment of the connection to suede is pretty spot on in my opinion. But I don't see it as a blight at all. I freely admit my car fits the "suede" moniker perfectly. My car is still VERY MUCH a work in progress and far from a smooth, soft and supple leather hide. Its dirty, greasy, has a pitted windshield, rusty chrome and runs in the paint....mostly because of lack of funds or time because I have been driving the thing. I hope one day to refine my lil hot rod, till then rough is just fine. That being said, there are some gorgeous cars and some that stray from the "norm" that share the big tent!

Very good pic's of some cool cars. Ya be really styling in the Eagle camper too. In the early 60s when I drove from Miami up to Tampa Fla. for Block Busters 2 days weekend show{Clearwater} I only had a puptent with me an no neat trailor or towcar. That was a long run in my hot rod, took tell the 70s to have a trailor an a Stationwagon too tow with an sleep in wagon luxrey,so you still got me beat. LOL Very nice set up,an awsome Trophy Gal dress color with your rod !!

That is the the spirit of reaching the completion of the journey...carrying the torch forward with a proud smile and jubilation everytime you hop into it and turn the key.

It is interesting with these vintage vehicles in that it is like a time machine in a sense. If we truly keep things circa 65 it really feels like stepping back in all its primitive beauty. Love it...

Such a cool Hotrod @ANDEREGG TRIBUTE
