Event Coverage Symco Shakedown Aug 11-12, 2017 at "Unionville"

The Symco show will be held on the 11th&12th of August at the "Unionville" grounds. There is no show on Sunday.
The Oshkosh show will not take place this year, but hopes to resume in 2018.

Yes Curt, the new Oshkosh show, but what about the original " Symco Shakedown Show" with all the old buildings by the river?

Edit: Found their website.....the original "Symco Show" is being held on Aug. 11-12, and not on the 13th.

Go to Speedweek and skip both. That's what I always do. Eliminates the politics.

 

So Curt, what's the story.....are they both 1/2 shows?
Not much interest shown in this thread.....makes me wonder how the shows will be?

 

Hopefully, you'll find me drinking a PBR in the saloon @ Unionville.

 

I don't know if they were 1/2 shows or 1/2 not shows, never did figure that out.
Probably low thread interest due to the past drama, hopefully participant and spectator interest hasn't gotten so low that both shows suffer.
Both locations have different vibes and they are 60 miles apart, good way to put more miles on the hot rod.

Per Cliffy on Facebook, the Oshkosh Shakedown will not be held this year but hopes for one in 2018.

 

I heard that about the Oshkosh one but have not verified it yet. I will be at Unionville.

It's on my vacation bucket list, so I'm going. Weather should be wonderful Saturday.
The website is iffy, does anyone know when the show opens Saturday or is it open Friday on to the end?
Need to go early and cut out for a family function west of there.
