Technical Good Quality Acorn Nuts, need a link/source to buy

    Folks,

    As long as I'm taking forever to put my rebuilt 261 Chevy truck engine into my '49 Chevy 1/2 ton I thought I'd delay it a little longer by searching out good quality acorn nuts. The application would be for the exposed head studs and maybe the water pump and other smaller areas.

    Don't ignore good ole' Amazon.com. They sell 'em lots of ways, including ***orted sizes.

    I second the suggestion for McMaster-Carr. Great price, best selection and next day delivery.
     
  5. Another vendor I've used a few times is Zorro Tools. Their shipping may be a little high for small orders but if you can get it to add up to $50 or more, then shipping should be free.
