  7. Lots of work done and a ton of work to still do. Going to do all the filler in Lead. 1956 Packard tail lights, Nose decked and shaved, 3" chop, door and trunk poppers, 1953 Caddy rear bumper narrowed 7" Front 1953 Caddy bumper narrowed 7", Caddy grill grafted in , eye brows hand formed, lights frenched, tail light sheet metal hand formed, frenched antenna and so much more. Not bad for a newby. Been reading pretty much every Kustom/Custom magazine from the 50s.

Amazing! For a second there I though the pictures on the roof were window panels inserted into the roof.

  9. LOL. Yep, I put those on the roof when I started as a motivational tool. The pictures are of a few 53s that I really liked and one of how the car was. It's a long process as working and owning a construction company in this economy makes for not much free time on my car. Plus the endless daily yard work, maintaining other cars etc. I just have to keep on moving forward slowly.

  10. 19961310_10155481915467726_562908877.jpg I had to cut out the poor welded patch from the bottom of the quarter and luckily I did, it was previously ground super thin. I had to extend the fender down 1" so the bumper was even with the lower quarter. I need to do the same on the other side next.

  11. Great looking Chevrolac Custom, 52/53 Cad bumpers and grills are the best.

  12. Or is it a Caddrolet. ;)

  13. Refining the front bumper and grill. Cut off the Dagmar straps that were all bent up and rusty. The only reason that they were on there in the first place was to cover up the ugly factory welds on the bumper in the first place. So what, you cover up ugly welds with ugly straps? Not on my build you don't!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.jpg

  14. That bumper / grill looks killer on this car!
