Very nice. What did you use for the steering column and steering box?

    Thanks!

I used a Borgeson steering box with an Ididit column.

I forgot to add the trunk picture. I wasn't going to do the trunk but my wife wanted it done. I said sure as long as you are paying for it. She paid and the trunk was carpeted.

I like the trunk too. I may possibly get the factory mat for mine. I have to start getting prices on having my seats done over, door panels and rear seat side panels too. Going with black and red, possibly red s***ching on everything.

    Thanks everyone!

I really wanted to add the white stiching on the black seams but I was told it would get dirty fast and fade so we stayed with black stiching. I would definately go with the red stiching. It would make your seats look awsome.

I personally think that your black s***ching is a great look. I think that the red would take away from the look in your car. I think you did great.

I'm pretty sure I used the 28 inch universal column. I used the Borgeson box made to install right into the stock location of the original steering box. It lined up so well that I used a rag joint for the coupling. The only issue is the joint falls right in the middle of the firewall/toe board. I had to make a custom cover for it.

That's the issue I'm having with mine. How did you address the tube size where it p***es through the dash? That stock tube clamp is tiny compared to the aftermarket. I'd love to see some pictures.
    Thanks!

I bought a chrome 2 inch drop and bolted in about the same place as the original clamp. Then I took the original column cover and trimmed it out to fit the new steering column. I had to open it up slightly because the new column was larger in diameter compared to the original.

I'll try to take some pics of it over the weekend and post them.

Pictures of the steering would be terrific. I am just about ready to put a new box in mine and a column too.
Thank you so very much for sharing.

Here are some pics of my column.

I bought a chrome 2.5 inch column drop from summit racing part # SUM-772810. I drilled two holes in the plate under the dash where the other column bolted in. It fit perfectly.

Then I installed the original column cover over the chrome drop. I had to widen it out a bit.

The steering box was the Borgeson 52-64 full size Ford power steering box.
