Hi guys. I have a rhd 32. The only steering box I have is a nice 1934 rhd one. Other than the bolt holes being flipped, is there anything else I need to do? Will the angle of colum be ok? I don't mind if the steering wheel sits a bit further in board... I'm using stock 32 front end and spindles, so with the 34 box would it be better to run 34 pitman arm or a 32? Thanks

The 3 mounting bolt holes on a `34 box are "clocked" different than the `32, so it won't bolt into a `32 frame correctly. And I think the angle of the mount face is also different. You could cut off the mount flange from the sector housing , then fabricate a new mount flange to be brazed on , since that housing is a cast iron piece.

Or drill the holes at the right location, then use shims to get the left-to-right correct. The pitman arms are the same, except a 32 uses a replaceable ball and the 34 has an integral ball.

    The angle is ok.
    Drill the holes.
The 33-34 box has a shorter casting , so you have to grind on the frame a litte for the top bolt
