So I did a phosphoric acid wash on the body and she turned out really nice and I found a good amount of cancer but easy spots to repair. But my big question is should I go fenders or no fenders??

What are your other plans? That'll determine fenders or not.

Jalopy derby...no fenders, no windows, and a belt holding the door shut.. Step on the gas and turn left with a little right turn thrown in.

  17. That's a 32 on a lowered 32 frame. And so is the othe one .
The 6" 32 frame makes a big differece compared to 9" deep A side aprons.

Your intended ride height, wheel/tire combo and stance would help give us an idea. What did you have in mind?

Like fenders on sedans and without on coupes/roadsters. Just finished a tudor and just starting a coupe which will follow this rule.

  23. My 2 cents, I think if you need to ask this question. You would like the fenders. I like both. But you either love driving a fender less hot rod in the rain or hate it. I love it. But that's just me. Ron...

    FTF.

Fenders are for restorations, not for hot rods.

Fenders make the car look a lot better. Not like a jalopy or "Doodle-Bug".
Plus, how much time do you want to spend cleaning your car?
