Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by youngster_'52, Aug 13, 2017.

  1. Hey Guys,

Has anyone of you ever seen or experienced this?

The other day i saw oil leaking from an uncommon place and saw that my shock was in the process of coming apart.

I bought it rebuild from one of the major rebuilders and hoped to be done with this topic.
The car has covered maybe 100 miles and sat for 4 years since I installed them.

Just a thought, have you approached the vendor and asked anything of them? Chances are if done the right way they may offer advice or some form of ***istance? Given that product is outside of warranty period and as a sign of good will, you never know. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It could be a dried out seal from sitting idle without being cycled and lubricated? Looks to be a GM unit.

knee action set up , best bet is back to the guy who did them before.

  5. I went back to them yesterday and they were really helpful. Offered to exchange the shock for no extra cost.

Service like that demonstrates a superior company. Here's their web site, use 'em if you need 'em. There are too few companies around anymore that give a **** after the warranty expires.
