Um, those are dummy spotlights, apparently much like the person writing the ad....

I am still pretty new to this but I haven't seen a 53 with a chrome bar down the center of the windshield before.

yeah that bar on the windshield is definitely different. 6k is pretty steep for a more door.... I'm guessing it will actually sell closer to 4-5k

Gotta be just for looks, not an actual 2 piece windshield.

The continental kit spare looks OK when it is on a hardtop or 2 door sedan not so much on 4 door IMO as far as price goes in Phoenix craigslist search it is about the only car from 1949-56 that runs and drives for 6K and under  are you guys seeing the same trend in your area ? Usually we see inflated prices around the time the Good Guys Show comes to town.

The most expensive part of a Coronado kit(the fake spare tire kit on the blue hardtop) is the stainless license plate plate. We've sold a few really nice Coronado kits, less the plate, for ~$300. The plate, if you can find it, would run you $200-$300 from someone who knew what it was.

The *** hanger sure looks like it would make filling the tank a major PITA. That would be the first thing gone if I bought a car with one of those.

I agree. Im not a big fan of them either. It's like a supermodel wearing a fanny pack. No reason to cover a good lookin' rear.

I'd be inclined to sell the wheels and tires, also the connie kit, get some $$ back on the purchase. I'd go with stock tires and dog dish caps and call it done.

The interior looks kind of shabby too. The one door card that was partly visible and front seat tells me it needs new upholstery and that = $$$.

The interior was on the ratty side. If you could do the door cards then only the seats would have to be shopped out.
