    I am looking for outside hinges for a project.I want to go with shoebox ford hinges but am finding 2 styles on google.Can someone tell me what year and model these come off of,thanks.

    Looks like 1949, 1950 was different and 1951 shoesboxes didn't have external hinges.

    49's have a left and right hinge as well, not sure about the 1950.

    They all have left and right hinges because of the curvature of the deck lid. The bases of the hinges are angled so the hinges pins are on the same axis (in alignment).
