I have a 1954 Customline.I was wondering if a 1954 Mercury Monterey hood would fit.I'm not sure if they used different fenders etc. Just a thought before I look for a replacement hood for the car. Thanks for any advice.

A guy on the '54 Ford Club of America did this and he reports the fenders are different and the hood is longer.HRP

The Mercs have a 3" longer wheel base, the difference is from the firewall to the wheel, so yes fenders and hood are longer, if you do the complete front clip, the front wheel is to the rear of the opening, but some don't have a problem with that

I think I will stick with my hood.I have seen some cars with blended scoops from the Monterey. Thank you @52ragtop
