Houston Cruze Night @...JIMMY'S ICE HOUSE!!

Attention All Houston HAMBers

The third Tuesday of the month is the the 18th of April...Tuesday the 18th of April.

Houston Cruze Night...due to popular request...is moving to Jimmy's Ice House. Jimmy's Ice House is on White Oak, in the Houston Heights.

From outside the Hights, drive down Montrose / Studamont / Studawhatever into the Heights. Take a left on White oak at the corner of Montrose and White Oak...(the corner where Fitz's is at...if it is still there...whoa, I'm gettin old...been a while...but I digress) Jimmy's is on your left hand side with a BIG BIG BIG parking lot for all to admire your ride. Jimmy's looks like an old gas station that somone decided to turn into an ice house...probably Jimmy (just a guess)

Rules:
If you want to show up in a ride I will look it over and ask you a bunch of stupid questions about it and basic auto mechanics, BUT having a ride, or showing up in one, is NOT required. Show up in a beater, on a scooter, or a pair of Chuck Taylors...bring friends...all are welcome... the only requirement is that you love old cars and have obsessive thoughts about rebuilding an old hot rod that take away much of your daily productive time.

As always please post a response to this email if you plan to show up in order to encourage more peopel to show up, and if you do not plan to show up lie and post a reply to this post to encourage more people to show up.

working again, GRRRRRRR!!!!!

 

Hey Lucky, once again I am going to try and make it (over to the Heights now) after work on Tuesday. Im typically bushed mentally after a 12hr shift but I always regret not crawling over the following day. So, if the Ranchero don't blow up before I get it back to Sugar Land this weekend, I will cruze on over and buy you a brew. I mean that, man... you deserve it for keeping this thing active.

 

Sweet, this is way closer to my house.....I'm there, of co****.

 

I am actually off that night.
The wife and I are going to an Astros game.
I'll stop by if y'all are still there after.
Hell, maybe I'll stop before too!

Cruze night officially starts at 6:30 and lasts as long as it has to.

...but I can't stop ya from showing up earlier ifn' a couple of you decide to get there before 6:30.

 

I am glad we were able to get the venue change p***ed through the Board of Regents.
We'll try this place for a bit, and if it works it works!

I'll be missing this one crew. Yeah I know a sad day(night) it will be. However, I'll be in Vegas, so sorry ****A'S!!!!

Awww man..I'm a good half a year away from getting the panel truck on the streets. I may try to slip out and at least stop by. If you see a strange looking man with a HAMB shirt, an Astro bucket hat flipped up, wondering around with little signs of intelligence...that'd be me.
If I don't make it, keep us updated on future gatherings. The beast will rumble up one day...soon.
