1952-59 Ford 51 frontend on 52?

    Saw a 52 vicky on ebay that has 49 front end. Anyone done this with 51 to 52? Any thoughts on how hard it would be.?

    Yeah that's my thoughts on the 51, lines are straighter and cleaner than the 49. I have no clue on the dimensions of the body panels or if they are even compatible with each other. My hope was they would just bolt on with minimal work but that would be like winning the lotto.

    The front clip is a 1950. the 1949 had the parking lights in the grill bar, not below it.

    I guess this is the one ? That bumper guard grille is **** ugly though it would look better with a stock '51 grille. Maybe try messaging the seller for info on the swap.The hood hinges maybe an issue. s-l1600.jpg

    I don't like the grille treatment, but the general fit and look of the fenders looks a lot better then I expected.

    Yes I did all that, he must not have that setup or have contact info in ebay because it just tells me hes not avalible to contact.
