    If u can, strip the body to bare metal. Mine looked good when purchased and I had photos of the body prep. After a few yrs bubbles appeared in the paint and no rust. I had it stripped to bare metal and redone. There is no telling how the modern primers, sealers, and paint are going to react to what's there. Fun to watch...good luck.

    If I were doing a custom I would use a 58-60 T-Bird grill for sure.

    Here's a update. Got 5.0 in with overdrive. And shot some paint.
