Hey, at least that last "T" had buckets and whitewalls. they musta painted over the chrome wires tho.
The "goldchainers" are turning into "silverchainers". That first set up and the T with the buckets are beyond belief. I thought I had seen buckets in just about every known, wrong application...I stand corrected.
[ QUOTE ] here the other reeeeelllly bad car of the show at least it was a shoebox [/ QUOTE ] i was parked in the next isle from that car......... did anyone see that custom t-bird (with the extra tail lights and tons-o-flake).
I kinda like them. Paint the spokes, and put the body on angled, *** up and it'd start looking cartoony. Fad t's like that should be funny lookin' and cartoony. Different paint, different headers, just exagerate everything . Make it look straight out of a cartoons mag.
nothin too strange there other than the wheels.. if it was a little toy i might want one for the collection but as a real car it's not too much to my taste. i do like the front wheels and tires though. it's not as bad as i expected when opening this post anyway.
Even though I listen to Hip Hop and Rap music... I don't subscribe to the lowrider culture... never did like low-riders... and I never will... BUT, taking that "T" into perspective with the rest of the air-bag/hydraulic Dayton wire wearing "yumpers" I think it's pretty ****ing cool! To see Snoop Dawg roll one of them beeyotches in a video rather than a six-fo' would be *****en'! Sam!
[ QUOTE ] I posted some other pics from Pomona today but I didn't want to pollute that post with these pics. Looks like P-Ditty and some of his homies are trying their hand at something other than Escalades... [/ QUOTE ] Bling Bling........................? Where does he keep his 2 15's and 8 tv's?
I've always seen old cars as an art form. Let's face it, there is no real function in them... You aren't going to go fast in a traditional hot rod, you aren't going to get Tahoe drivability in an old skool custom, etc... We aren't creating functionality, we are creating art. My first appreciation for this art form was lowriders and although I don't own one anymore, I prolly will again someday. I just love the look of a super clean, super simple, traditional lowrider... Late 60's vato style is my personal preference...
The grill, horn, and headlight are the only things I don't really like. There are a couple of gold-chainer white guys running around with 22" rear wheels on their cars.
[ QUOTE ] anyone got a picture of the "mural" on the back? [/ QUOTE ] Cut it out of the full size photo, don't know how well it will show up though..
That could be a gang sign. There is alot of sign language in gang life. I know a couple and I wouldn't show them in public. (could get shot for it if seen by a rival gang). I really don't care for the wheels but if you put on a set of Mickeys on the back it's a different car that probably doesn't even get your attention. Ryan, that '62 is *****en! Like I said before, it ain't my cup of tea... but I can dig the stance that thing has and aesthetically speaking, its a *****en car with a *****en' look... One thing I really do appreciate is the time and effort low riders put into their cars... like the '62 and the Model T pictured... they have a look that didn't happen by chance (like a lot of Rat Rods do)... someone sat there and labored over the way things were going to go together... Sam!
[ QUOTE ] Well, I saw to good ones at Pomona too, the first is this model T and note the seats, bucket seats? [/ QUOTE ] FORGET THE SEATS... WHAT ARE THOSE WHEELS??? 26" ???
