I know, super long shot, but my luck has been running pretty good lately so I figured what the hell.

Anyone seen or know of this 29 RP.? It was sold in the late seventies in santa clara CA. It had a SBC, auto, 8 inch rear. True spokes, 2 tone metallic brown. This truck was in many shows in the bay area at the time and it was at multiple Andys picnics over the years.

A couple things that stood out on this truck were it had cowl lights, dont see those that often, it had red and yellow hand striped flames along the running board skirts and a seat in the bed for me as a child to ride. At the time of sale it had "XXIXRP" as the lic. plate.

Im just curious if its still around, been updated Im sure, maybe available? (my wife would kill me.....but thats a bridge Ill cross at that time)

Just wondering what happened to the old pickup I had so many fond memories as a child in. Feel free to share this post, my email is EB@ENGINEBOY.ORG

    Thanks for any help.

I think I saw a photo or two of it in Andy's picnic coverage over the years but that was a long time ago.
Some times it is better to remember a car that was special in your life as the way it was rather than find out how it is now.

Agreed, thats a fine line, but I would kick myself if it was still around and needed to come home. Yes, Ive seen a couple of andys picnic shots with it in the background. I still have the plaque board from the truck with all the events on it, It has Valley Fair, Andys, Santa clara speed shop, etc. from 1974, 75, 76, 77.

I also have a couple trophies from Oakland roadster show and such.

One more time through the posts and Ill let this one die. I have been google imaging all options for a search and have been looking at just about every single model A for sale add I can find. Nothing I cant live without, but surely something I am curious about.

Once again, feel free to share among other boards and such, you never know who out there might trip on it.

    Thanks guys for any help.
