That's all the pix of the show I have. I'm a slave to "whitey" and had to work later on Saturday and forgot my camera. Which sux because when I fanally got there about 6pm all the kats were liquered up and acting stupid and the GIRLS were posing for pix on the rods. Ain't that a bitch.
I heard a general feeling of unhappiness with the show this year. Too many rules and "whitey" was everywhere keeping the fun to a minimum. I went up to the Garage on Friday night and it was off limits. NOBODY was up on the top deck because the fun police were at all entrances. On Saturday, the only day you could drink alcohol up on the top of the garage, if you moved your car out of the space to cruise they told you to leave and not allowed back up. Lots of spaces along the walls were not filled and there were some bitchin rod and kustoms in the regular parking lot. No burnouts, flamethrowing, ramp racing, donuts allowed. All in all the cars were bitchin, the chicks were smokin, the bands were jammin and "the man" just had too many rules. I think it kinda goes against what the show stood for in the first place. Oh and the vendors had to close up shop at 4pm when the car show "ended" even though there were poeple that wanted to buy stuff. But I'm sure Mr Ingram made a bundle. Later.............................Derek

SUPER nice job on this car! Lots of attention to detail! I've got tons of pics of this car and will post them when I get everything uploaded to Photobucket. Kid has the eye early in life, that's for sure!

There were quite a few "slapped together XXX-treme Radical Rat Rod" type cars this year. Goofy channeling, bad linkage, cheesy bolt on items.
Building your car as a scenester fashion accessory... Its just wrong.

Build it because you love it.

Build it to impress yourself- not the crowd.

Build it to last for more than one show a year.

    Thats my thing, I guess.

Wow! thx for all the pix! Lots of work to take all that and upload em all.

Thx again - no reason the thread shouldn't get 5 stars - I''d say any thread where any member contributes so much visual eye-candy should get a 5 start rating.

good thing I didn't run into any dick guards, they let me up both nights, with beer. Guess it was dependent on their moods

I was also wondering why so many cars weren't up top- is it because they weren't registered/didn't pay?

Saw that woody and the Buick on I-15 in Utah as they pulled off before Cedar City. They looked COLD. I'm sure it was less than 40 degrees out.
