Hello, I have always been intrigued by 1940 Willys coupes and sedans. It was our first, true hot rod build. This original SWC front end and grille was a historic piece of gas coupe and sedan drag racing history. It was part of the Mike Cook Motorsports set up and display at the Lions Dragstrip Museum in Long Beach. His dad, was the famous, Doug Cook. But, while going through the array of photos, I accidentally had this pop up on my computer screen…see below. Jnaki Don’t ask me how it happened or why, but as I was scrolling down through some photos of the event, this just happened on the screen. (A time lapse of sorts.) A screenshot saved the image. I tried to duplicate the event for several minutes and experiments, but no duplicates were created. Weird, modern computer shenanigans…”The Twilight Zone” strikes again. (Maybe, the ghost of Lions Dragstrip past is a haunting presence.)

The one with the round holes was built for a 28 chevy and all the little bowties were made for a 27 chevy both sedan deliveries.
I was playing around with the idea of a 34 commercial shell on my Model A Phaeton. Wasn't sure how it would look with a full hood and fenders. I like the look, so I picked up a second one. Now both the 34 and 29 will have 34 commercial shells.
