Is there a gasket between the tail light housing and the fender sheet metal? On the sedanett I am building, and my parts car neither had a gasket. I can find no gasket listed from any of the Buick suppliers either. Just the gasket for the lens to tail light body, no tail light body to fender gasket. Was there one installed from the factory? All the other cars I have ever worked on had a gasket between the tail light and car body, what gives with the 49 Buick?
