So I guess this is pretty off topic, mods go ahead and delete it if you want. But who's got cars in the works that we don't normally post about on here? I mean coome on we all love to show off our rides..:)
I only turned 16 a few months ago and just got my first car, and I'm excited about getting to work on it.

My next project is my '69 'burban. Gonna lift it, 35's, swap in 3/4T runnin' gear, and throw in my 'extra' 454 for use as a tow rig for the dunes.
Also got a rough '65 Nova waiting in the wings.

    '69 Beetle supercharged street/strip car(my first car ever :) )
'66 VW Single cab pickup resto-custom
    '74 Honda CB360 bobber/cafe racer
    '77 Harley FL custom
    '94 Ex-cop LT1 Caprice street/strip

All see daily driver use year round(which vehicle I use depends on what mood I'm in, and they all get about the same gas milage)
Pics avalible upon request to your e-mail so I don't waste to much bandwidth.

  14. I have three '72 Pontiac full-size Grand Villes, one a fairly decent 2dr - plan is to put the running 455 in it and whatever other pieces I need and have a cruiser. But it's been on the back burner since gas hit a high of around $3.30 a gallon last summer. Then again, it wouldn't be much worse than the milage my Suburban gets... I'm thinking about looking into a 200R4 in place of the TH400.

Hey man, i just turned 17. Anyway, my daily is a '66 Comet, flat black with green scallops, old school but not "traditional", but it's getting replaced at the end of the month so i can start on a more "trad" project. I was raised around muscle cars and big cruisers my whole life, and we now have tiny collection of them and i love'em, but my passion is tradional hot rods and customs, and thats why im here. Peace and good luck man.

I'm the president of the University of Delaware Formula SAE team, so when I'm not home working onmy '57 Ford, this is what I'm doing. Full tube chromoly chassis, which i must have spent 200 hours TIG welding together, 14.4:1 Yamaha R6, Electromotive Tec3 engine management, Zexel Torsen limited slip differential with custom housing, WAYYYYYYYY too many custom made parts to mention. Runs like a scalded dog and handles like it's on rails. Does crazy donuts too.

  22. I have been a long time sports car guy, have a '65 Porsche 356 cabriolet that is very original and nice. It was sitting in Palm Desert up on blocks for 8-10 years, original owner was a little old lady (friend of mines grannie) bought it from him when grannie passed away. Had to redo brakes, fuel system, etc. Got an MG TD out back that I learned how to drive in, was my stepfathers. Plan on restoring it someday......ya right. When the '32 roadster is done and my A coupe is redone.

Thanks jeffrob. I have found that most people either really like or really hate plunger frames. No in between! :D I like the look, but the thing rides darn near as harsh as a hard tail. I guess I like it because it looks old school and makes a lot of people say.....hmmmmm,....

Talk about non-traditional rides. A Honda bobber is not your everyday ride. It sure is sweet. Nice job!

Wow, I'm surprised this thread was allowed to exsist longer than ten minutes. I don't have a problem with it, but this just might open a can of worms.
