Thanks to gotta56forme, I now know what my car looked like quite awhile before I had it. All I have is one photo that was posted by an account that's now non-accessable named "slammed" in 2013. I'm looking for all and any information I can find on this thing.
If you haven't already, you might try getting in touch with someone from each Illinois Tri-Five or Chevy club you can and send them a picture to be distributed to their members. Also, I realize the picture is a little... grainy... any idea what state near you had 1) a white/cream with red letter license plate and 2) in what era? If it's not Illinois, you might contact clubs in that state as well. Good luck
Until around 1980 Illinois license plates were a different color combo every year. 1974 plates match your picture. Good luck on your search.
Well Done @BLACKNRED !!! Looks like a visit to *bay is in order for Mr. Smoothy in search of a copy of that magazine. The first page says the owner was Kent McCune from St. Louis, Missouri.
Looks like they used a pair of 73 Chevy truck front bumper guards as nerf bars in the front, interesting touch. Pretty cool the car had magazine coverage, looked good then, too. Planning a restoration to it's magazine era? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-80-Che...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Thanks BLACKNRED! You're Awesome! This just keeps getting better and better. I actually should be getting Kent's contact information tonight from the guy that got the car from him, so I'll be able to ask him all about it. Also with the name and location I was able to s****e up a newspaper clipping. And yes, the plan now is to restore the car to magazine condition. Oh, and Scott, of course I've already purchased one of of *bay
@Smoothy, I've been away for awhile, curious if you were able to make contact with the original builder of your 210HT? Gotta56forme/Scott
Awesome! Yes, I did get in contact with Kent, I made a post about it in my build thread! I'll post a link
