I've got a 48 Ford rat rod with a ford straight axle suicide front end setup sometime it front tires get into a horrible tire wobble you think it's gonna tear the front end off the truck it's so bad any ideas on how to correct or fix the problem

Check all of the front end for loose and worn parts. Then have it aligned at a good shop. Have the wheel and tires spin checked and balanced.King pin and tie rod slop and tire pressure ar very important. Good luck, Gary

Likely yes, though often is a band-aid for poor steering design (e.g. tie rod in front, etc..). You're inviting ridicule a bit with the "Rat Rod" term.. it doesn't go over well around here. Don't sweat it if you get some hazing, you're in the right place. The best way to get some advise is to post some pics of your setup. Roasdster1927 gave some good tips. :) And yes toe should be around 1/8"..
