Looks cool. Another one to take the boy to this summer, besides the mandatory viewing of "Cars", the Pixar flick.

Billy Gibbons is an awesome voice choice for one of Roth's characters. The Smother's Brothers? What?

Do you know if it's playing anywhere in the Bay Area?

 

It is playing at the Rat Fink reunion in Manti, Ut this weekend. Sometimes I love living here.

 

We got to see the premier here in Austin. Not the greatest ever sort of thing, but pretty cool and worth checking out. Some of it is really cool and some is hella gay.

 

Since I have seen this now here is my opinion.

This is well worth seeing. It is a somewhat animated show with some kinda cheesy animation of Roth's caracters but it fits the style of what it is. It is basically a recap of Ed's life through his eye's with John Goodman being Ed's voice. I am not sure if it will play major theaters as it is more of an independant film, but it should out on DVD in a year or so I heard.

 

I see that Paul LeMat does one of the voices.

 

Roth was cool. But he painted his cars....
